Just a short update

Hey all! There will be plenty of posts to come next week including my favourite piece of clothing for this month (September) which is looking to be my new bag. I know it's not clothing but it's an accessory, so the title will be changed slighty, of course!

Speaking of my new bag, I will be posting pictures of it on that same post instead of one from off of their website. I will probably be changing the picture of the River Island jeans to a picture of mine. If this doesn't happen it's because I have forgotten. Ooops!

Some reviews for products will be posted and to name a few one will be for a Radox shower gel and one for a Tea Tree product from Superdrug. Sooo keep your eyes peeled for that!

I want to try and start posting as much as possible while I have time and nothing much to do.

So yes, this is my quick update! If none of this happens next week (but I'm sure it will anyway) remind me with a comment!

Speak soon and take care!

OH and P.S. I'm going to be editing myself a lovely header for my blog during the next few days. So keep eyes peeled for that! =D

Lush review-Creamy Candy bath bubble bar

As I said on my previous review, The Godmother soap and Creamy Candy Bath bubble bar make the perfect team for a sweet smelling, girly bath!

Creamy Candy Bath bubble bar has exactly the same smell as Rock Star soap with their musky, yet sweet vanilla smell. The bubble bar is a light pink colour and a range of coloured flowers on top (blue, white and pink). I decided to chose blue for my first bubble bar.

When it came to using Creamy Candy Bath bubble bar for the first time my bar, sadly crumbled into tiny pieces due to the warmth of my house. Instead of only getting two or three uses/baths out of the bubble bar. I have so far had more than ten uses!

When I use Creamy Candy Bath bubble bar I tend to crumble a few little pieces into the bath by the taps and then with my hand mix the pieces around the water, to create lovely bubbles. You can get lots of bubbles from very small pieces just by doing this.

As soon as you get into the bath you will be surrounded by the beautiful, relaxing smell and after your bath your skin will not onlu smell gorgeous but will feel soft too! The reason for this bubble bar leaving your skin so soft is because it has cocoa butter in it.

Sadly, unlike The Godmother Creamy Candy Bath bubble bar isn't suitable for vegans. If you are vegan and interested in trying a bubble bar then there are loads to chose from! Amandopondo, Bathos, Flosty Glitter, French Kiss, Karma Bubble Bar, Ma Bar, Pop in the Bath, Sunny Side and The Comforter. There will be reviews for more than one of these in future, so keep your eyes peeled!

As mentioned earlier, Rock Star soap has exactly the same smell as Creamy Candy Bath bubble bar so if you don't own a bath but want to experience this smell then Rock Star soap is perfect for you. They are also perfect to use together if you want to keep it's original smell on your skin all day long.

Creamy Candy Bath bubble bar is perfect for any occasion, especially when used alongside Rock Star soap to keep the smell around all day long.

Lush review-The Godmother soap

This is one of Lush's popular soaps, which can be used in both the bath and the shower. However, it was created for people to wash their hands with. For any Lush fans out there this soap has exactly the same smell as the Christmas special, Snow Fairy shower gel.

I bought The Godmother soap at the beginning of July and have never looked back. My first bar has lasted me two months and at £2.56 a bar, it's definitely worth the money!

What attracted me to The Godmother was it's bright pink colour and pink and purple glitter on the top of the bar. When I first smelt the soap it reminded me of a candy shop full of sweets and treats! The smell lingered on my fingers all the way home, from where I had picked up the soap and I couldn't wait to use it.

When I first used The Godmother in the shower the smell was very strong and made me sneeze for a while, which isn't necessarily a bad thing! After getting out of the shower, getting dried and ready for bed, the smell was lingering in both the bathroom and on my skin. The soap didn't lather very well at first, but since then I haven't had any problems.

I use The Godmother soap with my shower scrunchie/loofah and rub the bar all over it until it's cream colour turns into pink. Then I just get a little water to get lots of bubbles! Then I just rub everywhere and of course you may need to put some more soap onto the scrunchie/loofah.

Not only does the smell last ages on the skin, it has also helped my very dry skin on my arms, which so far only The Body Shop's Coconut and Almond body milk has been able to shift. Not only has it done this for my skin, on some of the hottest days this summer it has also cooled me down.

For anyone who would like to try this soap but happens to be a vegetarian or vegan, this soap is vegan friendly (as is most of Lush's products), so you won't have any problem trying this soap out.

Perfect to use alongside The Godmother soap is the Creamy Candy bath bubble bar (review coming soon), which you crumble into the bath to get sweet smelling bubbles and after your bath you can use Candy Fluff dusting powder, which smells just like The Godmother soap and Snow Fairy shower gel. Not only does it smell good, it's also jam packed with gold glitter! Great for feeling girly or for a night out on the town with friends or family.

My tips for autumn and winter 2010

With autumn around the corner and winter creeping up behind it's time for my spring and summer clothes to be sorted out and tucked away in the back of my wardrobe until next year. I'm not going to be doing this until Wednesday (1st September) but before then it gives me time to sort out what key pieces I will be needing for autumn and winter. As well as wearing things from last year (and ever the year before!) I'm also planning on buying some new things.

Coats/jackets- These are vital for autumn evenings and winter throughout the day. I have two coats and three jackets. One of my coats is red and one is blue, these both go great with everything I have in my wardrobe and are colours that will work great for both seasons. My jackets are simple and once again can be worn with everything, but depending what type of jacket they are they may need to be layered up but these can be great for a night out with friends due to being hot in a club, bar or rammed pub. My favourite jacket is inspired by Ian Watkins and is of a military style. It's perfect for every season but I won't be wearing it TOO much due to how much I love it. Will definatly be wearing it when I go to fashion events though as it's something I can wear and feel gorgeous and confident in!

I have my eye on a parka jacket right now which I'm sure would be warm enough to wear without layering but when going out for the day I would wear a jumper, long sleeved t-shirt or t-shirt and cardigan with it.

Gloves, hats and scarves- Accessories are supposed to be what makes an outift complete and I couldn't agree more, especially in the colder seasons! Even though I don't have these three in a matching set I always try my best to match them colourwise. Example being that I have a pair of red, white and blue mittens with some scarves to match. I have one in red wool, one in red with black stars in and one with a union jack on, which I love! As for hats these don't match my gloves and scarves AT ALL! I love hats and I currently have three that I wear often. A purple beret, a black baggy beanie and various random ones. I have more lying around but I wear these the most.

I currently have some red leather gloves ordered and will probably recieve those in a month and I am going to be getting myself a black Russian hat. The marvelous Ian Watkins has one and so does my Dad, who have both made me want one due to have comfortable and cool they look. I'm also on a crazy hunt for a cheap Alexander McQueen skull scarf and I have luckily found some! I'm hoping to get a light pink one and while I'm not THAT into pink, it means it can be worn throughout the year. I also have my eye on a military snood that New Look are selling. I sadly haven't been able to find it in any local New Look shops but I'm sure it will be in stock soon. Both me and my Mom wanted a snood last year but could never find one we wanted or had no money.

There really isn't anything else I can suggest for winter other than to wrap up warm, wear warm colours and keep those red noses covered! It's not Red Nose Day yet.

Have fun and get checking your favourite shops now for autumn and winter lines!

Clothes from Boohoo I want

Basically in this months (September) copy of Company Magazine as well as a free mascara you also get a free tub of Radox scrub stuff and a Boohoo autumn 2010 magazine. After having various flicks through it I have found three items of clothed that I wouldn't mind having. Two of them I really want, while one I'm not so fussed about.

But I thought I would share them with you and do a little talk of how I would wear them and how you could wear similar pieces. =D

The magazine I received is available on their website here:
http://cde.cerosmedia.com/1O4c504f35b6e1e012.cde

If you wish to know which pieces I'm talking about you will have to look at the magazine so that you can see what the pieces look like. I would get pictures but they're not available on the website yet. =( Sorry about that!

So on page 08 you have the Cora Jacket for £45.

Yes this is probably out of most peoples price range but for a leather jacket it is GORGEOUS! Very military which has been seen on the catwalks all year! This jacket will look great with black skinny fit jeans and a white t-shirt. It will also look great with boots, heels and pumps and will work well for any occasion, especially for nights out!

On page 11 there is the Kirsty Parka for £30.

I am in LOVE with this parka! I have wanted a parka for a couple of months since Ian Watkins showing his off on various pictures after shows. =P This will work amazingly with some skinny jeans, military boots and a black t-shirt or vest. Perfect for a lazy day at college or university, going shopping with friends or just for popping down to the pub on an autumn or winter evening. As soon as these are available on the website, I'm getting myself one! The hood will be great for keeping me warm on autumn and winter afternoons and evenings.

Last of all on page 23 there is the Lorna dress which IS on the website for £21.
http://www.boohoo.com/FashionClothing/index.php?id=AZZ82533&code=AZZ82533-105-18&size=10&color=BLACK

For that price you can't go wrong! This dress is very pretty and will look great for any occasion, but only with some help from accessories. A chunky black belt around the waist will show off your figuare and make the dress look that little bit more expensive, perfect for a night out! So make sure to use a belt that has some bling on it! A parka or biker jacket will team up with this dress perfect for going out with friends for a shopping trip, to the cinema, etc! Wear with boots for a rocky look and make sure to team it with some silver jewellery. Pumps can make the outfit look sweet and will also look great with some nude or cream accessories and heels will make the dress look more sexy for a night out on the town! You can't go wrong with this dress!

Well I hope you like my little talk about those three pieces. If you like this I will talk about more clothes. OR if you want me to do something like this with a piece of clothing you're thinking of buying or own then I am more than happy to!

Leave comments if this interests you! =D

My favourite piece of clothing August 2010

My favourite item for this month just has to be my River Island straight leg ripped jeans.

As you can see they're a light denim and have various rips all over the front of them. When I tried them on the legs were turned up at the bottom like they are on the picture but you can unturn them and they look good. They look great either way though!

I got these in July and my Mom was lovely enough to buy them for me, as I couldn't afford them and she was the one to encourage me to try them on in the first place. So I love them very much!

I have only worn them once, but I'm planning to wear them again this week.

These jeans are INCREDIBLY comfortable and great to wear shopping with pumps or boots and on a night our with heels.

I love these jeans and will definatly be having them for a long time.
